Leslie Garbis has her masters in music, and has been a professional singer in a variety of styles for much of her life. Her approach to teaching voice is a very intuitive and holistic one, and she sees it as a healing modality. Liberating voices and helping people connect to themselves and others, are two of her favorite things to do. Currently, she is on faculty, as an adjunct voice teacher at Belmont University School of music. She also has her own private studio, teaches private Pilates, and is a workshop facilitator. In addition, Leslie spends her time with writing and recording projects, leading community song circle, facilitating sacred women’s circle experiences and retreats, and part-time homeschooling her 12-year-old son.
